they might call or stop by wanting a meal
or something like that.
Maybe they would miss my
"Can I bring my friend over to go
Something brought my daughter home
for a VISIT!!!
Who would have EVER guessed it would be
Double and triple....
I wasn't going to sew today either!!
Was I distracted!!!
I was supposed to be cleaning the house for
guests coming tomorrow for lunch.
buying groceries for guests coming for lunch.
making some food for guests coming for lunch.
I just couldn't tear myself away from
And their sewing adventures
in my new sewing room!!!
Guests coming for lunch will just have to
eat the ice cream sandwiches in the freezer
that I already bought!
We had some success in my new sewing room
we had some failure.
She did a great job on the binding!!!
She wasn't too discouraged
and I know.....
She'll get to make another one.....
and for that....I think
She'll have to come back and sew.
What a precious day you had. At least when the person wearing the apron looks down the print will be up the right way!ReplyDelete
What a great Saturday you have had Beth. What a lucky Mom.ReplyDelete
That's so funny, my daughter and granddaughter both come over to shop in my stash. If they came everyday it still wouldn't make a dent.ReplyDelete
well the ice cream sandwiches fall under the "dairy products" category - don't they??ReplyDelete
the print is only upside down to "others" - she can see it all perfectly fine, when she's wearing that fantastic apron!!
love your blog!!
Awww...how sweet! And I was thinking the same thing...when she looks down it is right side up! perfect!ReplyDelete
It looks like you had fun in there! Yay for new sewing friends.ReplyDelete
I have one word for you -- - TAKEOUT!!!!ReplyDelete
Great story..... ;-)
Those girls look like they are having a grand time. How nice for you too!ReplyDelete
Terrific post, I love to think that one day my children will come and visit for a meal, I never thought about the possibility that they could come for my sewing room and fabric!ReplyDelete
What fun!! I'd say you've got your priorities worked out well.ReplyDelete
Oh I just love that they came over to shop in your stash! Cute apron nonetheless!ReplyDelete
What a fun day!!! The apron turned out darling, and the chef will have a great view of the print. Ice cream sandwiches sound ideal for lunch. Enjoy!ReplyDelete
What a wonderful day! You sure have your priorities in order. You made great memories for those sweet young women and for you! And who really cares if the print is upside down? It is STILL adorable!ReplyDelete
How fun! I hear ya on the empty nest thing. You never know what will draw them back home. :) And it's fun when it happens!ReplyDelete
