Whoo Hoo!!! Being a grandma is the BEST thing ever!!! Let's see, my grandbaby is 10 months old and I've only made her four quilts (so far)!! Lady - start your stitching!!!
Oh my goodness! Congratulations! Well it depends on if the parents are quilt lovers or not........my grandaughter has many quilts from Grandma, fabric books, dolls, doll quilts, doll clothes........it is all so much fun!
Happy sewing....will you be Nana, Grandma, Mima or something else?
Congratulations! And we thought you were already an inspired quilter. Looking forward to what comes next from this place, now that you're looking forward to being a Grandma!
So happy for you and your family, Beth, what an exciting time! I can already picture your mind swirling around with creative ideas of things to make for your grandbaby. Oh, what fun!
Congrate to all. Being a Grandma is such fun. Oh they need lots of quilts. One for the crib, then one for the cot,one for a floor quilt to play on, ah a travel quilt in the car and then of course he/she will need one at Grandmas. so start sewing.
Congratulations; grandkids are the best!! I've made quite a few quilts for our grandson, some before he was born and some after. I knitted a lot of wool blankets too. Preparing for a new member of the family is so special.
Congrats!! Grandkids are great and I love making stuff for them. Girls and boys alike. Make as many as you can stand and then make a few more. I love to do the quickie recieving blankets and burb cloths...they make great gifts too.
Congratulations!!! There are so many wonderful baby things that you can make...quilts, receiving blankets, burp cloths, bibs, clothes and booties, the list goes on and on!
