red and white.

You know this already....
but let me remind you:

Quilting is JUST sewing and cutting....
sewing and cutting
sewing.....and.....

(Can see the small quilt
in the background there?
I'm trying to get it ready for hand quilting.
Quilting also requires a little bit of THAT) 
;)

The reason I like it so much....
Is because it results in such wonder!!!


You never know EXACTLY how it's going to look.
It's a SURPRISE.
A wonderful surprise!!!!

You COULD follow a pattern....
But then...
You'd miss ALL the FUN!!!!
:)

    the red and white is so pretty - more than the sum of its parts, for sure. And I agree that quilting is a fun surprise. It's like playing, I think.

    Dana- I used insul-bright but I really prefer using old towels.
