It was a WIN~WIN situation today.
My daughter had a Doctor's appointment.
I knew...
A) we would have a LONG wait and I'd get lots of cups appliqued on here.
OR
B) We would have a SHORT wait...and that's always a blessing!!!
One cup.
It was a SHORT wait.
YEAH!!!!
This is a quilt I started way back here!
WOW!!!
It seems like yesterday....
but it was a year and a half ago!!!!
Does that mean I'm getting old??
Wait!
DON'T answer that one!!!
;)
I'm hoping to applique coffee/tea cups, steam,
yarn, thread,.....
what else??
This one is all about happy memories
sewing and sipping coffee and tea with
friends!!!
Doesn't quilting with friends give us all
HAPPY MEMORIES???
I went back and looked - had to see the original inspiration. I am sure you will find what is needed to finish this - I cannot tell you what your memories are, I'm sure they are fond ones. Look forward to seeing what they are.

When this picture caught my eye, I had to come visit. I thought it looked like something Mary Lou would do. Then I went to your back post and saw where it all started. Love your quilt. Love your pictures of previous post with ML and happy memories!
ReplyDeleteI really like Mary Lou Beth. I took her Story Quilt workshop at Road this year. Love your Hoochy Momma blocks.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I've taken classes with Mary Lou also, and found it a pleasure. Love the style.
