I had a lovely FINISH today!
Isn't it springy??
All those little tiny pieces of fabric can now shine together!!
Can you see my hand quilting?
I used #20 embroidery floss.....
Followed painters tape placed diagonally.
Very. Easy.
Very. Portable.
Here's the back.
Sweet.
And this is why I sometimes make these table toppers small.
It sits in the middle of this
BUSY table.
Someday...
I may show you what BUSY really looks like!!!
I would have today...
But I had already cleaned it off for company.
;)
It IS so cheery and pretty. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty table topper! Looks like spring has arrived at your house.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very cute little something that was made from practically nothing. Well done! I like it.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. It is nice to see how this finishes up. The binding just hugs it all together. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThis came out so cute - love the binding which works well with front or back; and you could do a 'flip' and use either side. The flowers on the table are so 'spring' - I should go get me some flowers.
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE it!! Thanks for the idea for an easy hand quilting finish. Portable is so good and relaxing!
ReplyDeleteI love the hand quilting!
ReplyDeleteCute! What a great idea for using various bits and pieces of fabric. And yeah, we've got one of those "busy" tables too. :)
ReplyDeleteI hear you about the busy table. Mine is often a doozy!! I wonder if it would make people feel better about their own 'busy' table to see a whole lot of them. Perhaps your gorgeous table topper will hold the 'busy' at bay a bit. Whoop!Whoop!
ReplyDeleteThats an adorable tabletopper!
ReplyDeleteOooh, Beth, that is so pretty!!! I love that it's so cheerful and spring-y! I bet you smile every time you look at it..... Whoop whoop!!
ReplyDeleteCute stuff, Beth! Looks great on your table:)
