quilting bees

My online quilt bee friends sent me
half square triangle 16 patches this year.
LOTS of little half square triangles!!!
My quilt measures 41"x49".

I think I might add one more row of 16 patch blocks
and make this quilt square (49"x49").
What do you think?

Someone at my house thinks it's
JUST FINE
the way it is!!!
;)

  3. Wowsers, Beth! This is going to be a great quilt. If you get it finished soon, you may get the prize for the 1st finish of the Nittany Bee! If you make it square, it would nice as a table topper, but it's cute just the way it is too.

  4. Just gorgeous. Hard decision on the size as looks good the way it is-depends what you will use it for I suppose.
Wrapping up in it like your little model would me my choice!

  9. If you're going to be cuddling under it add some but if SOMEONE (she's so cute!) else is going to be cuddling, it's perfect the size it is! It's beautiful!

  11. I would rather have a rectangle quilt than a square one. So leave it as is.

  13. Wow- lots of little traingles for sure. I'm with the quilt holder.. looks good like this. I'm not a fan of square quilts though. I prefer the proportion of a rectangular one.

  15. Beautiful!! I still owe you a block too...so, if you want to add another row you have 1 block coming your way, otherwise you can use it for a pillow! I'm sorry it's taking me so long to get it to you.

  16. What a great gift! To be able to create this charming little quilt without having to sew all of those half-square triangles - priceless! And I must say, I also noticed the piano and metronome in the background. This piano teacher says yay!
