two little things.

My inexpensive tea towels made a great apron!!
I used one on the bottom...with some scraps added on the sides.
and part of one towel on the top!!

Some of the strips for that apron were
on the table because I was also working on this one!
Isn't it amazing how one project morphs into another??

This is my giraffe garden.
I finally figured out something I could do with that

I have enough left over to put a big hunk of it
on the back!!!
Those 2" squares are just going to have to live in
another quilt!
I'm adding this to frugal friday.

  1. I love those giraffe's! Adorable.

  2. Oooh, seriously cute apron!! Good choice!

  3. Ooooh, I love that apron; it's cute and funky at the same time!!

  4. Hey Beth... I started my stripe project today and blogged about it if you want to see:

  5. You are sewing up a storm! I like that giraffe's so fun you used it as inspiration for your squares and have two separate projects from it.
I love the apron! I wouldn't have thought to make it..and it's SO cute. :)

  6. i LOVE the apron.....
yours would make a fantastic addition to my collection of aprons...

    hm.... must make some aprons...

  7. Your tea towel apron idea is genius! Love it!!

  8. Love the apron~and the giraffe are so cute!

  9. Beth, those tea towels look great as an apron! Love how you put those cute giraffes in the quilt! Both are beautiful.

  10. Your apron is a great use for those inexpensive dish towels. Some of the dollar store towels are cute, but kind of thin to actually dry anything with. I think you came up with the perfect use for them. Very crafty!
