Mitered border

Success!!!
After finishing up my stars...
I found the perfect border fabric in my stash!
But.....

This border fabric was screaming "miter me!!!"
I hesitated a bit....and then......
I did it!!!!

Since I didn't take pictures of the process...
I found THIS tutorial to share with you...
It's very close to the way I did mine.
;)

I will NOT be afraid to miter again!
Woo Hoo!!!!
Another TOOL in my quilting belt!

  3. Great finish! sometimes, things just seem harder than they are, and mitering and Y-seams are good examples of this. how will you quilt this? I have a four-patch of wonky stars basted and ready to quilt, but I can't decide how to quilt it.

  6. I do love a star quilt. This looks great with the cars racing around the outside.
