Crazy Kids quilt

Before blogging....there were quilts.
Lots of quilts!

This is one I made for my son a long time ago.
He chose the centers of these crazy blocks....
and I added the scraps.
I'm PRETTY good with scraps!
;)

This is the FIRST quilt I free motion quilted!
Oh Boy!!! It's a wonder I kept at it
after looking at my stitches here!!!
Eeeek!
But I did....
And I can see that there's been some improvement!

Yep.
Practice makes Perfect Pretty good!

  1. Just LoVe the colours used for your son's quilt. Also I think crazy blocks makes a FuN time for the owner to look at.
    Cheers :)

  3. Well it still looks great and I bet your son did not mind one bit that the FMQ was not perfect!
I'm still not brave enough to try it!

You've done some pretty great looking quilts Beth I'd say you've really improved :0).

Like you it brings me so much of joy and I give myself permission to NOT be perfect. Right?

    Happy Sewing
