That'd be fun to hear about!
My goodness, what a lovely lot! Throw my name right into that drawing pail! I do love books of all kinds and I've seen lovelies made from similar patterns!
ReplyDeleteI love vintage... esp things that people have sewn/quilted/embroidered. I treasure the things I have that were handed down to me and wonder about the women who made them. I'd love to win the book and the patterns!
ReplyDeleteThis week I'm working on mug rugs for a b'day gift for my sister's upcoming birthday. I'm raiding my scrap bins and no one mug rug will be the same as another. Trying to stay fairly close to the colors she uses in her home....
Thanks for the chance to win some cool stuff!
Neat looking stuff, Beth! You know I love vintage goodies - good thing, too, because my grandmother had a hard time throwing stuff away!
ReplyDeleteThis week I'm working on ministry quilts, as usual, so I'll be loading a few quilts into the quilting frame (one at a time, of course!)
Thanks for the chance to win!!
Ooh that book looks like fun!! This week I'm working on my Grandmother's flower garden quilt, hand sewing my hexies together :)

ReplyDeleteMe to please I would love to win one of these prizes ,
ReplyDeleteI have been looking at this book for a while, I would love to win a copy!
ReplyDeleteI just can't seem to decide what to start on this week. I've been trying to tidy up my scraps and have pulled out numerous patterns, cut numerous sized squares, tried to put them in order colour wise, and still, I don't have anything started. Maybe if I win one of your patterns or the book, I'll be able to settle down.
ReplyDeleteThat book looks fun; I just posted photos of my newest 1930's quilts today! I'm organizing my sewing room so I CAN sew, this week my goal is to finish up binding on quite a few WIP's.
ReplyDeleteThe Tie Pocket Pouch is so cute! I have all of my dad's old ties...those little pouches would be perfect for the girls in the family!
ReplyDeleteThe book looks wonderful. My mother has some old fabrics, and we both have quilts from prior generations that would be interesting to date from the fabrics. And, all the patterns are cute
ReplyDeleteI've been hoping to get a copy of the Vintage Notions book. :) Any drawing you do would be nice to win.

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome book! My direction this week really has to do with older quilts. As I have been gifted an unfinished quilt top. Now the question remains what to do from here.
ReplyDeleteSo this week it looks as if I should focus on both new and old unfinished projects.
Wow! Six chances to win awesome prizes!1 Thanks for your generosity.

ReplyDeleteThat book and those goodies look very nice! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
This week I will finish the last of the 250 + pillowcases I made to donate to charity, adding to the 1 million pillowcase challenge count. Next week I will go back to quilting.
I also love vintage, would love to read the book, but the pincushion pattern is also lovely. I won't be sewing next week. We are in the middle of renovations and the sewing machine is packed away with a lot of other stuff waiting for my new studio.
ReplyDeleteAwesome giveaway! I am so excited to have a chance at winning. They all would be great to win! (I haven't ever own anything!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely giveaway Beth. I love vintage things. It is so fun to go to thrift shops and find lovely old things :-) I am working on cleaning out my stash closet. Finding all kinds of things!!
ReplyDeleteLovely give away.........love the pin cushion..
ReplyDeleteYou're right about liking vintage and older items. I have a small inexpensive collection of old sewing notions and advertising thimbles; they make me think of my grandmother who was a very good needleworker, learning in the late 1800s. And reading about vintage-fabrics, clothes, women and their lives-enriches my enjoyment of the entire subject.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win this book.
I enjoy your blog (and love the scrappy basket quilt on your sidebar).
I'm working on all kinds of things as usual, but I want to get a mug rug done today. I'd love to win the pincushion pattern!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely book. Thanks for the great giveaway.
