Monday making

After a LONG sit...
this quilt finally got the border it had been waiting for!!!

Poor thing.
It had to stay folded up in the quilt top pile while I
CONTEMPLATED.
I contemplated a VERY long time.

Eventually....
I decided....... I just had to GET 'ER DONE!!
Yesterday was the day.
It was a BEAUTIFUL Saturday to sew!
There was NO place I needed to be
and the house was relatively clean.

Quilting her will be another BIG project!

I'll probably wait a bit since I JUST finished quilting this one...
my scrappy tumbler quilt.

I am So excited to USE THIS QUILT!
but first...

I'm remembering that hand sewing binding
on a queen sized quilt is NOT FAST!!!
;)
and...
It's kind of BORING.
LOL!

What are YOU making this week???

  1. I love your treatment of those Bear Paw borders because it adds interest but it still is simple enough to give the eye a place to rest. Pure genius to use solids!

  6. I can't put my finger on why I love your bear paw so much -- the candy colors, the cheery prints?
Anyway, I DO love it & am eager to see how you finish it.
