Celebrate Sewing!!!!

I wanted to celebrate SEWING today
with my Thursday Friends.
They're the ones who hear me
MOAN and GROAN
as I work on all my projects!!!!
Yes.
I do my fair share of complaining!!!! ;/

SO...
I dumped my 2 1/2" squares on the table
and said....
Choose 16 little squares and I'll make you something!!!

These are the squares they chose.
Aren't they Bee-yu-tee-ful?????

I just LOVE scraps.
I'm always having fun when there are
scraps to be sewn together!!!!

These little potholders are my way to
CELEBRATE!!!!
I hope when my friends are cooking....
they'll remember how much
I appreciate THEM!!!!

This little one even chose some scraps.

She learned how to stuff a pillow.

Look at this fun fabric on the back!

Her dolls will appreciate a soft place to put their plastic heads!
Ooooh! Wouldn't it be awful to have
that
UN-Manageable
Doll Hair????!!!!
LOL!!!

  1. Very pretty! I'm saving my 800+ 2.5" squares to make a postage stamp quilt some day. I only need about 1000+ more for a queen sized....I'm a wee bit crazy.

  4. Sharon: Thanks for asking about my daughter. She's doing fine. One result from the storm for her (and the other students) has been the early closing of the college campus tomorrow! She has to pack up more quickly than anticipated and move elsewhere until next week's graduation! She DID find a place to stay! Yeah!

  5. I share your love of scraps; it takes more time, but I prefer a quilt made from them vs. yardage. And cute little pillow!
