This is my "Someday" quilt.
Someday.... I'll have enough blocks for a quilt.
Someday.....I'll have needleturned my last leaf.
Someday...... I'll figure out HOW to put the blocks together.
This past weekend I only had time for ONE block.
Someday is probably a L-O-N-G way off!
This Dear Daughter wants Someday to be sooner!
In other words...
I think she likes it!
I think she might want it!
Oh good.
All that work for.....
SOMEONE!!!
Love the picture of you and your daughter. You both look great.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful quilt, Beth, but you and your daughter outshine it by far!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt, beautiful people. What could be better.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mum and daughter pic. That quilt will deserve to be loved by a beautiful daughter.
ReplyDeleteAlmost impossible to tell who is the DD, but I've seen your profile picture. The quilt is gorgeous! I always feel especially happy when one of my children loves their quilt. Some of them are just not impressed by that sort of thing, and so they still don't have a quilt. (The one I'm speaking of thinks that a blanket is a blanket, and that quilts are "boring & snoring". (See why he is the only child without one!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blocks and beautiful quilt. I don't know if I would have the patience. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be a great quilt. I have 1 block done...you are way ahead of me!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are amazing. You will have one beautiful quilt "someday".
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lovely 'someday' quilt being made by 'someone'!
ReplyDeleteHow did the retreat go. Did all the girls love their goodie bags.
ReplyDeleteNice photo of you both. It is a lovely quilt & on my "someday" list too.
ReplyDeleteOh, your Joseph's Coat blocks are fabulous, Beth! I'm so impressed that you've come so far in Kellie's DontLookNow quilt along. I'm afraid my JC quilt along is a quilt that went... by the wayside. I made four blocks and I know I'll never complete it as it is. I figured out that I don't like hand applique! But I have a JC template set and plan to try hand-piecing the blocks. But YOU, keep up the great work on yours! It's going to finish wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteit is absolutely beautiful, beth! and will be worth the wait to see it completed. each stitch filled with love and longing. block by block. how wonderful!
ReplyDeleteowh! your Joseph's Coat is looking awesome...it' going to be an awesome quilt..ONEDAY!! I scrapped this project simply because I choosed to use freezer paper method ...maybe SOMEDAY I will try again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog!
I did that quilt along and ended up making mine in blues and turning it into a baby quilt for my new nephew...I love the color in yours...it will be beautiful whehn you finish it...someday!
ReplyDeleteIn stitches,
Teresa :o)
Love the fabrics in your Someday Quilt!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure there must be lots of quilters with 'someday' quilts. But knowing that 'someone' special actually wants it must be encouraging you to reach that 'someday'. It's going to be lovely!
