I like to turn them in at my local guild meeting.
Many of the organizations we give to are
very familiar to me.
The local Rescue Mission,
the police department and the Veteran's hospital...
just to name few!
but....
I have not been able to attend a meeting in at least 3 months!!!!
Always some conflict.
Last night it was my son's last football game of the season.
One of those parental opportunities to cheer my son on!!!
There won't be many more of those.
I know.
I've got adult children to prove it!! ;)
So this little stack kept g-r-o-w-ing!
I made another.
See how easy that is?
6" square.
3" wide red and blue polka dots to frame the squares.
Love those polka dots!
that was the perfect size and perfect color!!!
Red binding from donated fabric.
Last, but not least, a few diagonal quilting lines.
Two layers of flannel.
No batting.
A very simple cuddly kind of quilt!!!!
My friend Marilyn delivered them to the guild meeting.
Thank you Marilyn!
They will finally make it to someone in need.
I can relax.....
Oh no, I can't....
I've got to begin another collection!!!
I'm adding this to Amy's sew and tell friday!
Have a great weekend.
Randy was so happy to see them Beth. She showed them off to everyone and told them we would be making them for our Community Service workshop in December. Thanks heaps from the guild.
