and knew they had to be a baby quilt!!!!

I also got word yesterday that I WON a prize!!

But I'm not complaining...

I received the PERFECT amount of donated batting for

our quilts to Japan!

I received the PERFECT amount of backing fabric

for our quilts to Japan!!!!

Mainly thanks to a friend in blogland....Nancy!!!

I'm on my hands and knees trimming batting...

thankful.

God cares about it ALL....doesn't he?

It gives me peace knowing these quilts will end up in

JUST the RIGHT home....

at JUST the RIGHT time....

Deadlines.

Today's the deadline for quilt blocks to Japan.

And.....

This is what we've got so far!

Well....

Today's mail will come and then....

I'll have to decide if there are enough blocks for

ANOTHER QUILT TOP!!...

Or...

I'll just add some more blocks to these

quilt tops here!!!

I may even sit still for a little bit and

COUNT!!!

I've been getting lots of mail these days!!

These giant flying geese came from a couple of my bee partners.

Quilt for Japan.

Here's OUR first quilt.

Linda (no blog) did some piecing.

I need to do some quilting.

We ALL have to do some cheering!

That's what I've been playing over here...

except it's called

MUSICAL QUILTS!

I work on one a little.....

and then work on another one a little....

and on and on it goes.....

This quilt really IS musical!!!

It began with that ONE little piece of fabric in the middle.

Can you see all the instruments???

It's going to be a GREAT

RAFFLE quilt

for a middle school band teacher I'm friends with.

I was even able to add some little tiny stars.

I'm sort of attached to little stars these days!
