One thing leads to another....

I did some stitching on fabric today.
Of course, there was a little batting and backing involved!
All because....

I bought a sketch pad!
And SKETCHES just AREN'T DONE...
Until they're done...
IN STITCHES!!!

  2. I love it ....now what are you going to make from here with it.? I am so drawn to Mason Jars AND free motion stitching ....not so much a whole quilt but more the small blocks......keep us posted on what you do with it. off to find my sketch pad...haha

  4. It's fun to translate sketches to thread. Did you trace it on first or do it free hand? I love it with the blues.

  10. One year I made a jar quilt for my mom using fruit and vegetable fabrics. A friend quilted it for me and wrote jar names on each..similar to your sketch. Every jar had a different brand written on it...so fun, just like yours, Beth!
