It has always been easy to resist making a tee shirt quilt because I think they would be DIFFICULT to cut, sew and quilt ... however, your quilt turned out great! Giving is the best part :D
I just finished 2 t-shirt quilts today. I do agree the giving will be the best part but bitter sweet for the receivers of my quilts since they are made from their mothers clothes who just passed away a few months ago. Grandma will be at Christmas this year in a different way.
I've got a box of tee shirts waiting for me to turn them into a quilt. I love the way your quilt turned out. The half square triangle border really adds to it.
Well, it might have been a pain to make, but it looks GREAT!! And for sure it will be loved.
