other half=those fortunate crafters/seamstresses
that have their VERY OWN space!
My daughter is house sitting this week.
My other daughter is at college FAR away.
I moved into their room!!!!
I DID ask permission!
It was granted!!!
All it took was a portable table and my sewing machine.
I'm using the beds for storage.
You can imagine how organized I am!!
But it's L-O-V-E-ly...so far.
I had to take a picture.
I do miss sewing RIGHT next to my cooking area!
So HANDY!
But, a little messy!
Well, in ONE week, I'll be here again!!
This is one of the things I'm thinking about today.
How will I put these together??
How many more blocks should I make??
How big will this quilt be???
There are NO wrong answers!!
Isn't quilting fun??!
Back to my new sewing room!!

I so love this; the colors and shapes are all very eye catching. This would make a great cushion. Or a wall quilt. Or a table runner! So many possibilities,...
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
You didn't ask MY permission!!! Haha, just kidding. As long as I have a place to sleep in a month.
ReplyDeleteJane,
ReplyDeleteminor detail,:)! Yes, your room will be MORE than ready in a month..and I'll be ready to see you again!!! Can't wait!
oh Beth, I did the same thing. Enjoy. I loke the new quilt you are making. Looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love your scrappy blocks; enjoy your week:-)
ReplyDeleteDo you love going into your little quilting den? I quilted on our teeny-tiny kitchen table for so long. And I usually only did it on Saturday nights because my mess was so hard to work around. Now that I finally have my own room, I often want to go live in there. If I ever put in a small refrig, my husband may have to make an appointment to see me.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your "space" for the week!
Wahoo! A whole week of a quilt cave.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your space! I kicked the kids out of the play room this year... they are 13 & 15 ... they don't play anymore :) and now it is my 'studio'.... fancy name for my sewing room!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute scrap quilt! I love the colors!
