Isn't fabric FUN???
I took some leftover pieces from the simple flannel blanket
I made for the newest baby
and had SO much fun creating this little kitty cat!
Except for the fiddly little tutu this project was a breeze!
I will never tire of happy and scrappy!!!
What a fun, fun finish! Did you embroider that cute face?
ReplyDeleteI used little pieces of black and green felt for eyes and nose and embroidered the whiskers on.
DeleteVery cute, Beth. I can tell you are having fun. How is the kitchen coming along? Are you going to be ready to cook turkeys next week?
ReplyDeleteMy kitchen is moving along....slowly. :/ We'll be enjoying turkey dinner at the relatives this year. And...I haven't been able to spend as much time sewing as I had thought! It's not easy having people over everyday making messes. LOL!!
DeleteI know what you mean! I was so glad to get the men out of my house after 9 weeks of chaos and messes. Love it now.....you will too.
DeleteOh Beth ,love it. Do you mind if I use your idea to make them for my great grand children for Christmas ??
ReplyDeleteThe tutu is just wonderful. So worth the fussies.
ReplyDeleteOkay, you win! This is the cutest of kitties and absolutely worth the extra fuss for the tutu. Enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday.
ReplyDeleteAdorable- and even though it may have been fiddly, the tutu is the perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteOh!! how I wish I had a GD.....I thought the nose was a heart button???[scrap of material.ok]
