It's just a simple quilt...
but I LOVE it!
I used a light gray fabric for the alternate square
(actually there are two grays that are similar in color)
and added SCRAPS of pink, yellow and blue.
Since I have been REALLY trying to use the fabric
I already HAVE....
I ran out of gray.
Not to worry.....
The border squares don't have any gray.
And that's JUST fine.
A Scrappy, Happy quilt.
This was my view as I put those squares together.
With a sewing machine
and a project along...
My camping trip was COMPLETE!
;)
Congrats on the finish and what a lovely view!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt. Gray made the other colors pop.
ReplyDeletelove the scrappiness. do you ever put the machine on the picnic table? I considered taking a sewing machine along on a recent trip, but took hand sewing instead.
ReplyDeleteI think there's too much dirt to sew with machine outside....but I can KNIT!!! ;)

ReplyDeleteScrap happy making me smile! It is wonderful
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love using what you have until it's gone? (Unless it's an absolute favorite fabric that you don't want to use the last of, anyway.) I'm trying to do the same thing. Your quilt looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSuper scrappy quilt! Lovely colours, enjoy your trip :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful way to use up scraps.
