I just returned from a ***wonderful*** family trip!
We spent a long weekend
In La Quinta, Ca.
There were 5 of us who had to
SQUEEZE into our van
for the drive....
PLUS duffle bags and food!!!
We were packed to the GILLS!!!
I still NEEDED some projects to work on, right??
The above photo shows the projects I brought!
I worried that after squeezing it ALL IN
I wouldn't have time to work on them!
Between tennis, hiking, cooking, swimming.....
During REST TIME...
I did some weaving!!!
I'm so glad I took my loom!
Then I hand stitched the binding on this one!
Last, but not least,
I made progress on this handquilted treasure!'
My dump and sew quilt! ;)
The END is in sight friends!!!
I was so pleased to get things done
WITHOUT a sewing machine!
We even had another family picture taken!!!
Two pictures of everyone together within 2 weeks!!!
THAT won't happen again!!!
Love your weaving results and great family photo!ReplyDelete
Wow, can't keep a good woman down! You got so much done! Rest time huh? Your weaving looks like knitting to me. Your little quilt is beautiful too. The pinwheels and vines are so sweet together. Great finish for the new year. It looks like you had a great time even though you were all smushed together! Happy times to start out the new year. Great family pic!ReplyDelete
Looks like a fun AND productive trip. Can't beat that! I haven't done any weaving...that looks great!ReplyDelete
