I'm getting REALLY close to a finish here.
Last week I thought I had ARRIVED!
I was able to sew THREE rows together as I talked with friends.
It was nice.
THEN!!!!!
I had to RIP it ALL out!!!!
Eeek!
I had put them ALL together backwards!!!!
See that white diagonal going through there????
I want that to continue through the WHOLE quilt...
not zigzag at the END!!!
;)
Hmmm....
Today.....I'm going to do it RIGHT!!!!
;)
that is amazing, great job!
ReplyDeleteWow, Beth, that is one amazing quilt!!
ReplyDeleteOh no; I hate when that happens! It looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh. How big is this quilt Beth? It is going to be so great!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I love it.
ReplyDeleteQuestions. How long have you been working on this project? How small are your squares? How large do you want to make this quilt?
Oh look at all of those scrumptious squares! The blessing in noticing your turned around blocks is that you saw them before you quilted it! I'm only chuckling because I did the exact same thing on my western many trips top. Every home should have a postage stamp quilt. They just beg to be snuggled with and one has to slow down to snuggle. I think the world needs a lot of slowing down...and snuggling. The solution: A postage stamp quilt in every home!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Looking wonderful. Congratulations, I can't wait to see it quilted.
ReplyDeleteOh, goodness! It happens to the best of us, so hang in there and it's going to end up looking so dang sweet!
ReplyDeleteYou sure are dedicated... I'd probably put it into the UFO box.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
oh i hate tearing things out....my biggest quilt fear
ReplyDeleteLove the scrappiness!!!!
ReplyDeleteOops! Been there, done that! Love your little squares - this is going to be a fun quilt when it is done!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, we've all had to rip occasionally. That is going to be a beautiful quilt. I love the scrappy squares and especially the diagonal going through it.
ReplyDeleteSweet top but....unsewing is not my favorite either!
ReplyDeleteWhat size are these million squares?
Happy resewing :0)
How infuriating! I find un-sewing to be so disheartening. You are close, though!
ReplyDeleteyou ALWAYS do things right... just sometimes you need a couple of tries at it!!!!

Oh No I am always RIPPING !!!! the Postage Stamp is looking good though. I have only done ONE block. :(
ReplyDeleteBeth I have just added two more Rag Dolls to the Flickr Group.
OOPS! Looks fabulous though!
ReplyDeleteI love a postage stamp quilt. I have had one in the works for a loooong time, and have exactly 1 block done, LOL! If my friends would just quit having babies...
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous! Kudos and then some to you.
Wow, that is lovely! I make the most mistakes when watching TV!
ReplyDeleteSorry you had to spend a little time with the ripper. How frustrating. I'm in love with this fabulous scrap quilt! It is going to be great and worth the frustration when it is done.
ReplyDeleteSWEET! love all those squares!!!! every quilt needs to a little seam ripper time.. LOL! ( a little extra elbow grease to make it poifecto! )
ReplyDeleteWow! This is a great quilt. I hadn't noticed the white diagonal until you pointed it out, but I think it subtly organizes all the scraps just enough.
