Monday making

This week I was able to get this quilt quilted!

I added a curvy vine and leaves.

It seemed the perfect design for this beautiful quilt!

This quilt top was tucked in with a bunch of hand me down fabric a couple of years ago

And NOW it’s a QUILT!!

You just never know when the perfect quilt finds the perfect home!

This one is going to a fundraiser at my son’s group home.

I also shared about making the block for this quilt on my channel.

Monday making - a finish

I finished a big project this week.

10 table mats for an upcoming event.😉

I had a bunch of leftover batting strips

(Given to me recently)

And they were the PERFECT size for my little quilts!

I LOVE when that happens.

There is a slim chance I’ll make a couple more little quilts...

But IF NOT....

I am ready with these!!

I used the tiniest pieces to make this little zipper bag.

Isn’t it SATISFYING to sew with tiny pieces

and make something useful???

I used a cotton sheet...so it was a frugal way to GET it done!
