computer sleeve

I interupted my quilting "MoJo" today
and made a computer sleeve.

This is a project I should have done a while ago....
But I DIDN't.
Do you ever
DRAG your feet?

I made one for my daughter a year or two ago...
and her friend wanted one too.
Isn't it NICE when the kids like what you make??
That doesn't always happen!!!

I used some hair bands for the button clasp.
You probably already knew that trick!!!

I'm done with another fun project on my to do list!
Only 20 million more to go!

  1. This is great! My work finally bought me a laptop near the end of the year last year (I'm a traveling teacher...) and I desperately need to make a sleeve to put it in. Guess I should add it to my list! The hairband is a great idea, too, which I never would have thought of.

  2. Love it! I'm so happy to hear you have plenty more projects to share with us!

  3. Nice sleeve! And the hair bands? I found out you can get an enormous stack of lots of colors for a buck at the dollar store!! I may never run out!!

  4. Mrs. Shibley! Is this for me?? I love it! Beautiful. :)

  5. That is perfect and so pretty!

  6. I love it! What did you use for padding? I have been contemplating making one for myself! =)

  7. That is so cute. Don't you love the little fun projects in between? And I never thought of using hair elastics. Aren't you clever! Dollar store, here I come.

  8. Sisterino:
I just used some leftover batting.

  9. I would have never thought of a hairband - what a GREAT idea!! Thanks for sharing - love your fabric :o)

  10. Beth, I've had short hair for years so I never would have thought of the hair band idea. Thank you. Thank you to Sarah Craig for the shopping trip too.

  11. Very nice. My daughter has me crocheting a cover for her I Pad!

  12. I've never heard of using a hair band - how clever! Making an iPad cover had been on my list for over a month now, but still, i haven't gotten around to it. Maybe this weekend, if incan drag myself off the iPad long enough to sew.
