It's been a good week.
One of my quilts is featured in an article in
Art Quilting Studio magazine.
It is a fun quilt celebrating my husband's garden.
I used an old linen napkin
and did a lot of fusible applique in a collage style method.
I also began a new project.
I'm trying to make alternate squares for an old embroidery quilt project.
I'll keep you posted.
Little scrappy squares are SO fun to use!
What are YOU making?
Congrats on your published quilt, Beth! It's lovely! I adore your cheerful scrappy squares, too.
ReplyDeleteKudos on being published--what a creative and lovely piece you have made--I love it. I am following your videos on YT --they are so helpful...making my two grandgirls placemats this week to liven up their meals a bit...

Congratulations! I know you've been published plenty, but I'm sure it feels great every time. Just yesterday I was thumbing through some of my quilt books for border inspiration and ran across a quilt of yours, Sweet September in Victoria Findlay Wolfe's "15 Minutes of Play." Remember that?
ReplyDeleteHow fun to be in that magazine. It's a great quilt too.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the magazine article, that's really cool! Love your scrappy block. Looking forward to see how it pairs with the embroidered blocks.
ReplyDeleteI adore your veggie quilt!
ReplyDeleteLove your tribute to your husband's gardening!!! Awesome!!!
