One more sleep until Christmas Eve!
Ms. Juki is in the shop.... So little Fanny F.W. Is helping out.
She's not as fast as Ms. J, but she and I get along famously.
The gifts need to be wrapped....
The house should be cleaned AGAIN!
(Wish it would stay clean)
There are things to bake and cook.
(The family wants to be fed even if I am busy). ;)
I'm sewing.
It's not because I'm lacking gifts to give!
It's because my sanity says I need it!
How about you?
Do the busy days DRIVE you to the sewing machine?
Hi Beth, where do you take your Juki for service? I'm thinking Steve over at Cornerstone but would welcome your recommendation. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteClean again?? eek. Just keep on sewing! Merry Christmas to you and yours.

ReplyDeletei keep saying Beth... you amaze me.. who'd a thunk... to put the spool of thread into a mason jar??? brilliant!!! it beats the spool tumbling around on the table and having me chase it around.
excellent.... it's stuck in my head!!

Merry Christmas Beth - and family!!
Yes! I get very cranky if I don't get sew at least a few minutes of every day!!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I have machine piecing ready to dive into upstairs in my quilting room, an applique bag and hand quilting ready to go at a moments notice. And why does wrapping gifts take sooooo long? hehe We have to do another quick clean through as well, parents coming HERE on Christmas day this year. hmmmm... I wonder if Merry Maids would be an acceptable Christmas gift.....Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteis your thread set up in a mason jar?
ReplyDeleteThe thread spindle broke on my thread stand (it sits behind the featherweight and holds larger cones) The mason jar worked! Necessity is the mother of invention. ;)
