It was time.
Time to make a charity/donation quilt.
And...
I did TWO things I RARELY do.
I followed a pattern.
And.
I used a collection of fabric.
;)
This fabric comes from connecting threads.
EXCEpt...
that thin line of purple.
THAT ...was in my stash.
I ran out of purple and had to use SOMETHING!
The kittens are SURE to make someone smile.

ReplyDeleteSuper cute quilt! It's amazing how much squares set on point change the look of a quilt (vs. straight rows). The angle makes it look so much fancier. Sure to be loved by whomever receives it!!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet..I like the colors alot. I think someone will enjoy this quilt too. Did you enjoy using the pattern and the collection? I like the angles and the fabric. The nine patches look good with the striped fabric, it makes them look harder than they are.

ReplyDeleteI love this. I have actually been considering purchasing those fabrics from connecting threads, but I really never use novelty prints. I was thinking about them as I was going to sleep last night, and now I see your post... I think that I might just need to purchase them (finally).

ReplyDeleteThis is such a great quilt for charity, it can go to so many different purposes. I love that we can make charity quilts and pass on "hugs" to those in need. Purple is my favorite quilt ... it just makes this quilt perfect!
