No sewing today.
;(
I was way too busy to stitch even ONE seam!!!!....
No worries!!!
There's always time for fabric acquisition.
;)
I stopped off here between errands.
Buying fabric is KIND of like sewing...
Isn't it???
I WAS looking for some USEFUL fabric....
Thinking I'd get some GRAY for the backing of
my newest project.
I looked at all of these....
then decided to get the one on the left.
PLUS....
A BUNCH more I didn't need!
NO worries....
They were ALL on sale.
;)
EXCEPT the one I "needed"...
OF course!
Prep work (fabric acquisition) is definitely part of sewing!!!

ReplyDeleteHmmmmm, I think I recognize that place.
ReplyDeleteooooohhhh.....ahhhhhhh....weeeeeee....oooohhhh M&L fabrics!!! OHHHHHH how I miss it!! I'm so jealous!!
ReplyDeleteI loved going there with Gerda. What a fabulous store.
ReplyDeleteI love M & L Fabrics! It (unless there is more than one?) is only about 10 minutes from my aunt's house and I went there the last time I was in CA! I think I could have spent all day in there if my husband and aunt wouldn't have been waiting!
ReplyDeleteI love the little quilt at the top of your post, too!
I am so jealous. What a wonderful day you had with all those fabrics. BTW, just wondering when the next "Neighborhood House Party" is?
ReplyDeleteBuying fabric is VERY MUCH like sewing..
