ReplyDeleteYour quilt looks great. I always have a hard time figuring out the quilting lines too. Denyse Schmidt told us she takes a photo and prints out several copies on paper, then draws various designs until she finds the right one. I tried that with my last one, and it worked well.
I still haven't quite finished mine - the quilting is about half-way done, but we had five requests for quilts through the quilt ministry, so it's on the back burner again until those are done.... And I love that Fat Quarterly quilt along - I think we're going to use that pattern for one of the five quilts. Mainly because I can bag up some quickie kits for ten blocks or so and hand them out to my quilters to sew up and return to me to be put together for a flimsy!
