This week I was finally able to complete a quilt
that has been on my TO DO list for quite a while.
My son requested a HEAVY quilt to replace an older one.
(I have made quite a few quilts for this boy!) 😉
I made this quilt using a blanket for batting
and I "tied" it using my machine.
All the details are HERE on my youtube channel.
Now.....All I need to do it mail it off!!
What are YOU making this week??
"Family days" in the sewing room can keep one quite busy. Super cute projects came out of your quilt room and I bet made your mom and son very happy. Thank you for hosting the link party and happy quilting.ReplyDelete
Family can definitely keep us busy in the sewing room. Love all those blues in your new finish, very pretty.ReplyDelete
The blue quilt is beautiful. There's something about a single color quilt that always looks so good. Hope your mom and son really enjoy their gifts.ReplyDelete
So sweet that your boy wants another one!! and so pretty! ( wait - should I call it handsome!!)ReplyDelete
Looks like a heavy and comfy blanket!ReplyDelete
Congrats on finishing off your son's new heavy quilt, Beth! Here's hoping he thinks is nice and cozy. :o))ReplyDelete
Isn’t it wonderful to get family requests? It looks really nice.ReplyDelete
I'm working on some simple quilts here too, attempting to use up a collection of fabrics I accumulated in the 1990s! I HOPE to get a bunch of these quilts done into tops at least, this year!ReplyDelete
