This week I have been making log cabins.
Free style!!
This quilt top has been unfinished for quite a while now.
I just added the appliqué on the left.....but....it still needs some little circles.
Then I’ll add some more free style log cabins to get it bigger.
Queen sized?? Maybe.
😉
What are YOU making??
Such a pretty quilt , Beth. Free style piecing sounds like a lot of fun. Hope you have a blessed week and thank you for hosting the link party.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Love the red vines in the borders.
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt design! circles will add an awesome touch. can't wait to see what comes next
ReplyDeleteThe reds sparkle amid the neutrals. Your design is reminiscent of Gwen Marston whose work I love.
ReplyDeleteLoving everything about this quilt!! Nice work hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteOhh I like it - glad you pulled it back out!
ReplyDeleteThat's creative quilt - I like the branches on the sides
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to pull an oldie but goodie out to see if it's time to finish it. Have fun deciding what to add to complete it. But queen size??? You go girl.
ReplyDeleteYour free form log cabin is so much fun! Love the wonkiness of the blocks.

ReplyDeleteYes to the vines at the sides of the quilt! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteA VERY strikingly lovely quilt top!
ReplyDeleteLove your red and white top. I really like how you free style pieced the log cabin blocks. They look wonderful; then you added some lovely vines to the sides. Totally amazing. I can't wait to see it completed. The circles will really make it. ( I like to use Karen Kay Buckley's templates.
