Monday Making

This week I took a vintage quilt.....
(purchased a while back at a thrift store)

copied the block.....

and made a pillow sham to match.
It's not a perfect match....
but I STILL love it!!
:)

What are YOU making this week??

  1. We don't have to be all match-matchy. It looks great with the quilt. I hope you have "recovered" from the wedding. Are they going to be living close to you?

  9. Yours is made more accurately than the original... on which I see points disappearing into seams! I picked up an old quilt made about 100 years ago, that I made blocks similar and just need to set them with setting squares of alternate fabric. I think it is TIME I got to that project! Love yours, so '30! (I love '30's fabrics, most of my current projects are in 1800's reprints.)
