Monday Making

Every year I make about 10-12 table mats
for a women's retreat held in the spring.

This is the first one for 2020.

I like to take orphan blocks and add borders.
It gives me a place to begin
and I always have PLENTY of scraps to add.
:)

The challenge is coming up with a variety of color combos!

They are auctioned off....
so it's nice to have "something for everyone".

What are YOU making this week??

  2. Very pretty. And even nicer, you are using up orphans and stash.

  3. A great idea for orphan blocks. I already have several from "testing" patterns and the block is not quite perfect. I think I may use them on the back of the quilt though. Happy Monday!

  6. Love the color combo and placement in that one - I'd be raising my hand at auction for it!
