Every year I make about 10-12 table mats
for a women's retreat held in the spring.
This is the first one for 2020.
I like to take orphan blocks and add borders.
It gives me a place to begin
and I always have PLENTY of scraps to add.
:)
The challenge is coming up with a variety of color combos!
They are auctioned off....
so it's nice to have "something for everyone".
What are YOU making this week??
Very Cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! It's a good design exercise.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. And even nicer, you are using up orphans and stash.
ReplyDeleteA great idea for orphan blocks. I already have several from "testing" patterns and the block is not quite perfect. I think I may use them on the back of the quilt though. Happy Monday!

I love that splash of yellow in the center and I look forward to your collection this year. Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteLovely! And a great way to use those orphan blocks.

Love the color combo and placement in that one - I'd be raising my hand at auction for it!
