It's always HAPPY DANCE TIME when a quilt is finished!
The dance is EXTRA jazzy when it's a QUEEN sized finish!!
;)
I know some of you use tumblers that are cut with a machine...
but friends...
these are all HAND cut with a template and rotary blade.
LOTS of netflix helped me along.
LOL!
If I could say this was HAND pieced as well......
well.... THAT would be something to brag about...
but I can't.
My little featherweight did ALL the work.
I am SO happy with this quilt top!
I wanted to emphasize the green and I think I managed that!
There is enough green to make this quilter happy.
:)
I DO love SCRAP quilts!!
Here's a quilt I saw today when visiting a friend.
Isn't it great???
Love the scrappy colorful happiness here.
I also love the little feet that get to spend time
rolling around on it!!
Babies and quilts are meant to be TOGETHER!!!
Don't you think???
And here's a recipe that's sure to make you forget the HEAT!
It's been SO hot here....
:/
The recipe calls it SALSA.
I call it SALAD!!!!
I served it with cheese quesadillas.
ENJOY!!!
awww.. that salad look so delicious but we are having the coldest Winter in Perth!
ReplyDeleteI love the 'blue' tumbler quilt (my fav colour) and the scrappy quilt, which I'm going to make 'one day' - I think that's the best version I may have ever seen of that pattern :)
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! What a great quilt! And hand cut - you are crazy girl!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteLove your tumbler quilt. If I would have made one, the blocks would have also been cut by my rotary cutter. The crumbs quilt is cute too, there just isn't enough time to make all the quilts I want to make! Blessings, Gretchen villacrestfarm@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWatching favorite movies does ease the pain of repetitive cutting. The smaller the pieces, the greater is the test of your patience. A queen-size quilt with small hand cut tumblers is definitely a finish worthy of a celebration. You rock, Beth!!!

Oh Beth that's gorgeous!!! Well done xx
ReplyDeleteNice looking queen sized quilt and very nicely balanced scrappiness. you did a great job with it!
ReplyDeleteScrapalicious! What time is lunch......or dinner? LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous quilt! Love all that scrappiness - I am impressed!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a fun quilt. It turned out beautifully. You have much more patience than I do.
ReplyDeleteAn amazing quilt for sure! I have never used my Go Cutter. Wish I would sometimes. Your quilt is so colorful and just lovely. I can see it on a bed. I need more scraps. I just don't save them like I should.
