Little bag

I wanted to make a bag today
after seeing my quilt teacher demonstrate her pattern.

I don't need a bag.

But I made a bag.

See??? I knew you'd understand.

Mine is made in miniature.
I used 2 1/2" squares instead of the 5" Squares called for.
A little more Fiddly than 5".....
but cute!
And totally pointless!!!

  1. Haha. You gotta love a pointless project. It is very cute though . . . maybe you know a sweet little girl who will love it.

  2. Somedays pointless is the very best feeling of accomplishment. It is a very sweet bag.

  3. Yes, this is cute and I'm sure you'll find some use for it... we always do!! I really love those measuring tape handles. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Oh my gosh, it's really cute. I think a certain grandbaby might want to lug stuff around in it.

  5. Hi Beth, I have been so nice, I know what you mean ', sometimes doing some projects for the pleasure of seeing them made and enjoy it, because sometimes things are not planned, greetings. Rose Marie

  6. I bet it made you smile :0), it is really cute, did you use a real tape measure for the handles?

    Happy sewing

  7. A new bag is never pointless. A wee beauty.

  8. Very cute! And if you enjoyed the process it was not pointless.

  9. Oh yes, it is soooo cute! :) Great job, girl!

  10. Who needs a reason to make a bag? It's so sweet. I once made a similar bag with crocheted squares (and much bigger).
