Monday

Today I'm THANKFUL for BIG borders!

They are the easiest way to G-R-O-W a quilt.

I used some neutral colors so you'd notice the quilt blocks.

The ABSOLUTE truth is.......

I was TIRED of making these.
:/

Now I can dream about quilting that BIG border.
Should I quilt in some FEATHERS???
Should I create a SCALLOPED edge????
Hmmm......

My dreams are ALWAYS better than REALITY...
Maybe that's why I like doing it so much.
;)

  2. Very pretty - you certainly could play with scallops with a curve feather.

  3. The borders are so pretty. It certainly doesn't look like you wanted to "bring the top out to size". It looks like you wanted to use some beautiful fabrics!

  4. Scallops, definitely!! Were you making those triangles by hand or with a die cutter? I've done it both ways and they do get tedious after a while.

Borders are the way to go when you want a larger quilt. Makes a nice frame, too.
