I've been camping
and sewing.
I packed some scraps and enjoyed making string blocks!
I also enjoyed some outside games!
Now that I'm home,
I hope to finish this simple baby quilt.
The baby is almost here!!!
What are YOU making this week??
Love the soft colors in your string blocks. Hope you find the time to finish the baby quilt.
ReplyDeleteI like to bring quilting along when I travel too but I leave the machine at home and just bring hand work along - I like for there to be no machine noise :) but a featherweight would be just the right size to bring if you are bringing one
ReplyDeleteI like the stripes in the strings, good combination of fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThose stripes in your blocks are so very wonderful -- loving these!
ReplyDeleteThose string blocks look so nice. The shuffleboard queen is the picture of summer!
ReplyDeleteYay - a baby quilt for a baby. Now that is fun! I love that you took your sewing machine camping. I would love to do that but we don't as of yet own a generator so there is no electricity. I just do hand work.
ReplyDeleteI love your scrappy string blocks. The little knitted baby sweater in your last post was soooooooo sweet.
ReplyDeleteI love your string blocks, especially with the stripe fabrics - really makes them sing! You've got the best set up too. If I could sew while camping, maybe I'd camp more!
