Monday Making with little pieces

Little tiny half square triangles are so much fun!

One minute I was piecing these leftovers together....
Next thing I knew....

I had a FINISHED project!

One little pincushion with a small ribbon attached for
GRABBING!!

Anyone else have trouble picking up the pincushion
WITHOUT injury
due to PINS haphazardly sticking out in ALL directions???

That little grabbing ribbon is going to SAVE me!!
;)

What are YOU making this week??

  4. The units for the border of the wall hanging (featured in my Monday Making post) generated a bunch of cutaway HSTs. I have trimmed them to 1.5" and plan to sew them into 9-patches.

  5. I sure hope these were leftover triangles! No, never seem to have problems with pin cushions. I keep a LOT of them hanging around as I like to be able to swap empty cushions for filled cushions. Think of pin cushions on the cutting table, the big ironing board and near every sewing station I have. Yep, I own a LOT of cushions. Yours are darn cute.
