monday making - quirky fabric

I made a new quilt this week.
SO FUN. And fast!

I used some homemade templates and lots of quirky fabric.

My templates were made from a plastic wall board we had in the garage.
It comes in BIG sheets...so I don’t think I’d recommend purchasing
Just for quilting.
Since my circles did not need to be perfect...
I think using cardboard would work as well.

I didn’t worry about getting the circle edges to meet when the
Four pieces were joined.
This is a NO WORRY.....NO STRESS kind of quilt!

It’s been washed and dried.
All of the frayed edges are
Perfectly soft and cuddly!

What are YOU making this week??

  1. I love it! And I have to say I recognize some of the fabrics. Yes, I'm "mature" as is many of my scraps. I have always planned on making a Bullseye quilt but haven't gotten around to it. You have inspired me to put it back on the list. Hugs!

  4. Oh what a fun project! I used to teach a class on this block, but I did it with a quilt as you go method! In fact, that quilt is on my bed right now! It is 3 quilt weather here. One of my favorite quilts.

  6. Oh, those circles are wonderful! Are they appliqued on top of one another or curve-pieced?
