Monday Making

Quilting kept me busy this week.
I am thankful for that.

I finally finished a quilt top and hope to quilt it soon!

I also made another table topper for an upcoming event.
It’s virtual...but still includes small quilts!

I am thankful for quilts.
I am thankful for the quilts I received early on that inspired me to MAKE quilts!
I’m thankful to make quilts.  -  It’s so good for my mental health. :)
I am thankful for this community of quilters.
You ALL have added to my love of quilting!
You MAKE. You inspire. You cheer!
This is the nicest community....
And I’m glad I found YOU!

What are YOU making this week?

  1. Love your quilt. Can you share the pattern name?

  2. Thanks for asking. The Info is on my youtube channel - here -
I started with four half log cabin blocks (made in another video) and added a center square with sashing

  3. The quilt you show is very pretty, happy stitching!

  4. Both projects are really pretty. White makes those blues, greens and purples look so crisp. Wishing you more sanity stitching this week. It is nice to have a hobby that soothes the rough parts of life.

  5. Gorgeous quilt top finish!!! I agree with Kate that the white background really makes the colors pop!

  6. Both your quilt top and that table topper are beauties! I don't say it enough, but thanks for hosting this linky party!

  7. Let me join the chorus: beautiful quilt! I love the crispness of it. And, good for you for getting a start on your spring small quilt project. I'm assuming it is for the group you do this for every spring?

  8. I am thankful for you, and your willingness to host Monday making. I too really like that quilt in the top picture. Great design choice and colorway.

  9. What a pretty quilt - love the colors!

  10. Your new quilt is so pretty. Looking forward to seeing how you decide to quilt it. Happy stitching :)

  11. Two very nice quilts. I really like the pattern on the large quilt.

  12. Lovely quilt top and little quilt.Have a wonderful week of quilting.

  13. Thank you for contributing to the Quilting Community via your posts and the link up :-) This community is inspirational and very supportive because people like you are willing to put so much in. Take care! Allison

  14. 'You make. You inspire. You cheer'. I think you might be talking about yourself and what you give back!:)

  15. I'm thankful for quilts as well, and am especially thankful that my sister-in-law convinced me to help her sew some log cabin blocks for a king sized quilt she was making. It was the beginning of almost 40 years of enjoyment.
