Monday Making

It's been a pretty productive week.

Some more blocks were made for my son's upcoming
wedding quilt!
Woohoo!

I'm mainly cheering to celebrate
a wonderful daughter-in-law to be. 💓
:)

I did quite a bit of trimming.

I kind of like this work.
It's peaceful.
It's serene.
It's easy on the brain (No thinking....LOL)

I also finished a charity quilt
with a short time lapse video to document it all.
Enjoy!

I am known for doing things fast.
I sped it up a bit more!!!!

What are YOU making this week/

Link up and share.

  4. Oh you do work at speed, I would have had a lot more coffee though! Lovely blocks, it’s wonderful when you like your kid’s partners so much, I’m very lucky too, I have a great son-in-law and I couldn’t have chosen a more wonderful daughter-in-law, it makes such a difference.

  5. That is speedy stitching! Beautiful blocks for the wedding quilt. Did either the bride or groom have input on the design or is it going to be a surprise?

    1. When they came for Christmas I asked them to look at my quilt tops and choose one. They chose a twin sized quilt top that I am now GROWING :)

  7. Love the growing of quilts. They get done so much faster!
How long was the actual time for making of the charity quilt top? Loved it. Thinking of spring?... I'm starting to think that way.
    Bless you

  8. Wait, did I see you drinking coffee AND sewing a seam? It went by so fast I didn't register exactly what happened there. The quilt is nice and on to quilting it! I like the blocks you're making for your son and soon-to-be-DIL. And, love the idea that they could choose from your tops and you could expand as needed.
