When you're MAKING...
You NEED a BIG mess of color
RIGHT next to you!!
This little quilt is a TABLE MAT.
(still needing to be quilted)
Every year I make a few to be auctioned off
at a women's retreat.
I love making these little scrappy quilts!
What are YOU making this week?
Is your mess as messy as MY mess???
Looks like you are having SEW much fun!!!ReplyDelete
Love those red and blue stars! Playing in the scraps is a lot of fun, though I agree it is also usually pretty messy too.ReplyDelete
Productive scrap play -- that's a winner. I like the way the stars float so they have elbow room but you don't need to fiddle with sashing.ReplyDelete
That's a great little quilt. My room is always a disaster when I have a scrap quilt in progress.ReplyDelete
My work table resembles your's at the moment. Love your colorful stars.ReplyDelete
Oh Beth, my mess is way messier than your mess :-D But I embrace it all because creativity is messy. Your table top flimsy is very happy :-)ReplyDelete
I think this may be the first time I have linked up with you, Hello and Happy 2020!ReplyDelete
Oh,yes! A big mess of color is always welcome especially this time of year. The mess turned stars turned table mat would get my bid!ReplyDelete
That is adorable! So fresh and fun!ReplyDelete
I love that little scrappy quilt too, but it doesn't look scrappy. The stars are adorable!ReplyDelete
I have some orphan blocks I would love to send you if you can use them for your topper project. You can see the test blocks I made here https://lovelaughquilt.blogspot.com/2020/01/monday-making.html#comment-formReplyDelete
No wait, here is my link, stupid user error! LOLReplyDelete
Your stars are so fun looking! Always love a good sawtooth star quilt.:)ReplyDelete
