I'm happy to be included in the most recent

and FREE giveaways at
the QUILTMAKER blog here!!!

I will also be giving a copy of the magazine away...
so leave a comment and cross your fingers!!!
;)

This is the applique block I designed
for Quiltmaker.

I used a MIX of color
to create this FUN block.

Sometimes I hand applique..but..
This time it was
Wonder under and ZigZag!!!
Super EASY!

Since I LOVE scrappy...
I made some more blocks using scraps that seemed to play together
pretty well.
;)

Alternating the background also gives this pattern
some ZING!!
Don't you think??

Here it is MULTIPLIED!!

Isn't She pretty???

  4. I gave up on applique for years, then one of the raffle quilts for our guild's show had pieced and applique... I was given several little pieces to do which reacquainted me with the slow intimate feel of hand applique... enjoy it so much. Very nice block, I like round pieces... so many possibilities.
