It was very hard to find time to sew this week.
I was BUSY getting my son ready for his FIRST year of school!
We dropped him off today.
A parental MOMENT...for sure!
We packed boxes.....
bought some necessary essentials....
And made SURE he had enough QUILTS for the bed!!
He loves to LAYER them!
You think he has enough????
can't ever have too many quilts especially since mom make the best ones.....ReplyDelete
What a nice looking young man! I know you are proud of him. I send him happy wishes of success throughout his college days! May God bless him and keep him safe!
Best of luck to your son, Beth! very big deal!ReplyDelete
I love this! I'm working on my daughter's quilt as she heads off to HER first year of college! I have made quilts for my son and his friends when they have gone off and they all come back and tell me it's the best thing in their rooms!ReplyDelete
Maybe enough, but never too much:) Such a handsome young man, you must be so proud!ReplyDelete
What an exciting time for him! College can be scary, but who can be scared cuddled up under 5 mom-made quilts full of love?ReplyDelete
Ahh, what a great photo of your son with these quilts. I'm sure he feels your love in all of them.ReplyDelete
He is launched! Such bittersweet days, and also FUN. Enjoy these years.ReplyDelete
I'm not sure that five will be enough! You both now enter a new stage in your lives. I wish you both the best.ReplyDelete
Good boy! Packing right!ReplyDelete
This is so sweet. I just sent mine off too, for his first year of college. He only brought along 2 quilts. He would have had 3, but one isn't quilted yet!ReplyDelete
What a handsome young man! And so good to pose for Mom with symbols of Mom's love neatly folded in his lap. Best wishes to both of your!ReplyDelete
Is it cold there?!?! Five oughta do it! So sweet!ReplyDelete
