This week I made these SUPER cute potholders.
I used some leftovers....of course!
These were leftover strips from a honeybun package.
Little tiny strips only 1 1/2” wide!
I didn’t have many...
AND....
I didn’t NEED many.
🙂
I also ended up doing a little sewing at my daughter’s house.
We were visiting her family in Texas
and I found I had more time on my hands than expected.
With ONLY a sewing machine and NO supplies....
What was I to DO???
Shop at the thrift store!
I found some fabric (shirts and pillowcases)
And got to work!!
Don't cringe TOO MUCH when you see the scissors I'm using.
LOL!
Video is HERE.
What are YOU making this week??
You come up with the best little projects. Smart move to hit the thrift stores for fabrics!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to be creative when you need to! Hope it inspired the grands and your daughter that they too can be creative with very little cost. I bought a shirt at a thrift store for the fabric and saw that it was my size. I love wearing it till I decide to cut it up.
