Does anyone else own stockings like these?
We have a few from Aunt Kathleen....
Made MANY years ago.
We pull them out every year...but there’s not enough!
I finally found a pattern that wasn’t too intimidating...
And so far....I’ve made three!
Two following the pattern...
And ONE with my own simple design.
🙂
I need SIX MORE in order to have one
For all the kids and grandkids!
Whew!
We’ll see how that goes.
What are YOU making this week??
Those are great! We have crochet stockings in the same vein. But, we only had 3. Our son was never given one by my s-i-l. So I made him a quilted one. Your snowman is darling. Great job. You've got enough time 'til Dec. to get them all done.
ReplyDeleteThe stocking is so cute! Well done!

What fun stockings, Beth. A great project to complete early . The grandkids will love them. Have a great week and thank you for hosting the link party.
ReplyDeleteThose stockings are really cute. Sounds like you've got a lot of hand work left to do on those. I hope you'll show off the whole set next holiday season.
ReplyDeletewhat a cute project and something to look forward to all year
ReplyDeleteChristmas in April--you're even ahead of Christmas in July! The stockings are cute.
ReplyDeleteYes! My brother and I had stockings like that. Mine is still around somewhere. The beard on my Santa was possibly mohair yarn. I loved to "pet" it... it was so soft.
ReplyDeleteI have to check the pattern... I have one made for me as a baby 60 years ago but want to make some for family, thanks! Great job!
ReplyDeleteWait -- are these socks to wear on your feet, or stockings to hang up for Santa? They are adorable either way, but I personally would love to wear socks like that while baking Christmas cookies or watching the sappy Hallmark movies!
ReplyDeleteThose are really fun socks, well done!
ReplyDeleteThose are darling! I think you can do it in the next seven months, Beth! 😅
