Three quilts.
For three high school graduates.
The same...yet different.
I think these scrappy quilts...
using WHAT I have...
Turned out so pretty!
The HOW TO video for this 16 patch block is HERE
I was scrounging around for border fabric to make them a bit bigger
and when I got to the last one...
I ended up piecing the leftovers into a piano key type border.
I am very pleased with these quilts!
NOW....
I need to make some sandwiches and QUILT!
:)
What are YOU making?
Beautiful scrappy quilts. Love the soft colors. Those will be well loved. I feel for those that are seniors this year, a lot they were looking forward to that won't happen for them.
ReplyDeleteLovely scrappy quilts! Love the strippy fablics.
ReplyDeleteThey all look gorgeous! So fun to use our stash:)
ReplyDeleteThey are all gorgeous and what makes them great is it's all stash! By adding different inner borders you were able to make each one special!

Great job on your graduation quilts. I really like the piano key border... just saying.
ReplyDeleteThese are soothing and calm in color. Great pattern for scraps or left over JR strips. I might just have to use this one for the next 'clean up' project.
ReplyDeleteThese turned out so nice - definitely a reason to be proud!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! Love the simple blocks with the mix of prints/colors. Your pieced border was a great make it up, make it do fix.:)
