I have been trying the past few years to use ONLY my stash.
I have been successful MOST of the time.
**Wink wink**
This little baby quilt is from my flannel bucket.
Flannel quilts are soft.
They are cuddly
and they are CUTE.
:)
As you can tell.....
I didn't have quite enough of the same fabrics to make this one
matchy matchy.
But I like it all the same!
Maybe I like it MORE!!!
Here is the produce harvested yesterday.
My husband's garden continues to keep me busy in the kitchen.
I've enjoyed the green beans this year.
I steam the beans.....
make a DIP using mayo and a little soy sauce.
We dip them in the sauce and eat them like french fries.
YUM!!!
What are YOU making this week??
Sweet flannel baby quilt! Sometimes just one fabric is missing from the stash, oh no, I need to buy a little of this one...
ReplyDeleteIt looks soft and cuddly. Congrats on finding a home for another set of scraps.
ReplyDeleteFun baby quilt! Great job doing a number on the stash. Don't you just love fresh vegetables?!
ReplyDeleteIt's a sweet little quilt! It's so hard using just your stash and there are times when you have to make a purchase or two!
ReplyDeleteHum, yes, a flannel quilt would be nice. Maybe I'll check my flannel box! But not during the summer. I like your green bean plan. Maybe we'll try that too.
ReplyDeleteGood for you using your stash! Your quilt looks just fine - but then again I'm a scrappy quilt lover! Your veggies look delicious! Thank you so much for sharing that dip recipe!
ReplyDeleteYay for the garden!! WE have a lot of zucchini appearing ;-)
