This is the quilt that I've been cuddling with this weekend.
Being under the weather is NO fun...
but it SURE it nice to have an abundance of quilts.
I made this one a long time ago.
I used a thin wool batting and HAND quilted it!
It's the perfect quilt.
Not too heavy and bulky.
Not sure what I'll be working on this week yet...
What are YOU making???
Sorry you are not feeling well. Hopefully you got lots of love and tender care from your family for Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteWishing you well. How does the wool batting compare to 100% cotton? I've contemplated trying wool batting but no nothing about it.
ReplyDeleteWool batting is great when Hand quilting. You should give it a go sometime.
DeleteWhat a lovely quilt, Beth. Hope you're better soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you aren't feeling well and hope it was just a 24 hour bug. I'm taking a detour from my year of UFOs and making a new quilt this week.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are under the weather. But being under that quilt -- wonderful. I love your stylized tree with the leaves. Here's to feeling better!

ReplyDeleteI love your tree quilt, Beth! Hope you're feeling better, and thank you for hosting the linky for us even when you're under the weather.
ReplyDeleteIt's never fun to be under the weather, but your quilt is so lovely. That applique! I too always choose a great quilt to cuddle up in and make me feel just a bit cheerier.:)
